Designing a scatter plot is not normally a project that one gets really excited about. Nonetheless, when asked to create one, I designed it as an interactive piece using clean and minimal designs. When each quadrant was clicked, the camera zoomed and rotated to show that the dots were actually the tops of hot air balloons, which they represented. Not only was this visually pleasing, but it instantly made the points relatable as to what they represented and added an extra axis of information to the graph.
